Austin Shedd

Austin Shedd serves as a Director of The November Saturdays Foundation, bringing a steady, hardworking approach to a mission he believes can make a lasting difference in the lives of young people.

Austin watched the idea behind November Saturdays grow from a passion for helping children into a larger commitment to creating access, support, mentorship, and opportunity. When the chance came to become part of that work, he knew he wanted to help build it.

His own approach to life is rooted in showing up, working hard, solving problems, and doing what needs to be done. Those are the same qualities he hopes young people see through his involvement with the Foundation.

Austin is especially passionate about sports and mentorship for young men. He believes sports can teach discipline, accountability, teamwork, confidence, resilience, and the importance of continuing to work toward something even when it becomes difficult.

For Austin, mentorship does not have to be complicated. Sometimes it is advice. Sometimes it is encouragement. Sometimes it is simply being a consistent person a young person knows they can count on.

Through The November Saturdays Foundation, Austin hopes to help young people build confidence, recognize their strengths, and understand that their circumstances do not have to determine where their lives go next.
